White water lilies

White water lilies can have flowers of different shapes, e.g. star-shaped, or with more rounded petals, or with double the number of petals.

All these white water lilies are hardy, i.e. frost-resistant and must remain in the pond throughout the year.

Large water lilies are suitable for planting up to a depth of about one meter, medium-sized ones up to about 50 cm, and small ones up to about 30 cm.

The space occupied by the leaves on the surface depends on its size, basket size and planting depth. The larger the basket and the greater the planting depth, the more space will be occupied on the surface.

The blooming period is roughly from May to October. Water lily flowers remain open for three days and for each plant several flowers can open at the same time.
